PRISM’s FFP2 masks are manufactured on our production line in Frontignan in the Hérault department and comply with the recommended European and French standards.
PRISM performs continuous quality self-checks during production.
Description
TYPOLOGY:
Filter half mask of efficiency class FFP2 NR D, type “duck’s beak”, single-use mask, non-sterile.
The mask is manufactured according to the recommendations of the standards:
NF EN 149+A1 2009
14683 + AC 2019
PRISM carries out quality self-checks as and when it produces.
PRECONIZATIONS:
It is intended to protect the wearer against inhalation of both droplets and airborne particles. This mask is used to protect its wearer from dust, and aerosols (fine droplets suspended in the air) and to avoid the projection towards the surroundings of the droplets emitted by the same wearer.
MASK DESCRIPTION:
The mask is composed of several elements that have a specific function:
- A mask “duck’s beak” organized in several layers (called folds), whose exteriors are made of non-woven polypropylene, called “SPUNBOND”, 2 intermediate layers (filter media) ensures filtration, called “MELTBLOWN”.
- A double nasal bar, called nose clips that adjust the mask to the shape of the nose, also prevent leaks and reduce the formation of fog on the glasses.
- Occipital fasteners, which allow the mask to be attached to the face by a double flat elastic (Manual separation).
